Killed in the early Friday morning accident was Casey Eggeling, 16, of Wills Point. It appears as if Eggeling and another teen were sleeping in the road when the accident occurred. The other teen was not injured. The Department of Public Safety reports Ruben Lann, 67, of Wills Point, contacted authorities after learning of the accident. He said he thought he hit a bag in the road.
