Williams Joseph Bass, 55, of Lufkin, was arrested for sexual assault of a child, prohibited sexual conduct and displaying harmful material to a minor, in August. According to previous reports, on Aug. 15, the boy spent the night at Bass\u2019 home on Ricks Road. The next day, the boy told his mother, Bass got drunk and assaulted him. The boy was taken to Memorial Medical Center-Lufkin for a sexual assault exam and did have injuries consistent with his story.
