The incident happened along County Road 2210, which runs from the loop to Lake Holbrook. A suspect, Joel David Head, 44, of Quitman is in custody on unrelated charges.<\/p>\n<p>Officials believe the victim was struck in the head one time by a small caliber rifle round. He was a passenger in a white Dodge pickup traveling eastbound on CR 2210. The driver of the truck stopped at a flea market to place the 911 call. The victim was taken by emergency helicopter to ETMC Tyler.
