\"\"TYLER \u2013 Former Cowboys QB Tony Romo has withdrawn from this week\u2019s 56th M&P Group Texas State Open, after he was arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated on Thursday. The Cascades Country Club in Tyler confirmed to our news partner KETK, on Sunday that Romo has withdrawn from this year\u2019s tournament at their course. Romo has been a common sight at the tournament in recent years alongside many professional golfers.<\/p>\n

Romo\u2019s withdraw comes after he was arrested in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Thursday night and charged with a first-offense of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Romo played quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys from 2004 to 2016 but is a native of Wisconsin.<\/p>\n
