TRINITY COUNTY (KETK) \u2014 A 33-year-old man was sentenced to 10 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Friday after being convicted on three felony charges related to child sex crimes. The Trinity County Sheriff\u2019s Office said Timothy Michael Zawodny entered a no contest plea. He was convicted of sexual performance of a child and possession of child pornography.<\/p>\n
A district judge ordered that Zawodny serve his 10-year sentence concurrently and register as a sex offender under Texas Law. Zawodny was arrested in February 2022 after investigators with the Texas Attorney General\u2019s Office and Trinity County Sheriff\u2019s Office executed a search warrant.<\/p>\n
