Teachers will earn between $50,500 and $75,000 based on years of experience. A beginning non-certified teacher will earn $50,500. A teacher with 31 or more years of experience will earn $75,000. Teachers will also receive a $500 retention stipend paid in August 2026. Eligibility for the stipend is contingent upon returning to work for the 2027 spring semester.<\/p>\n<p>Bilingual and special education teachers will each receive an additional $4,000 stipend on top of their base pay.<br \/>\nDistrict police compensation<\/p>\n<p>District police officers are compensated on a three-level hourly scale based on years of service. Level 1 officers with zero to two years of experience earn $27.18 per hour. Level 2 officers with three to seven years earn $29.27 per hour. Level 3 officers with eight or more years earn $31.36 per hour. Lead, tactical, and other officers earn $33.45 per hour.<\/p>\n<p>Officers also receive monthly certification pay \u2014 $75 for intermediate, $150 for advanced, and $225 for master certification \u2014 as well as annual stipends ranging from $1,000 for officers with zero to five years of service up to $5,000 for those with 20 or more years.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Raises for other employees<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All other employees will receive a 3% raise based on their pay grade midpoint. The package covers professional employees, clerical and technical staff, manual trades employees, bus drivers, and mechanics.<\/p>\n<p>Bus drivers earn between $18.36 and $27.23 per hour, with a 3% midpoint raise of $0.68 per hour. Mechanics earn between $19.09 and $26.52 per hour, also with a $0.68 per hour raise.<br \/>\nExtra duty and summer school rates<\/p>\n<p>Employees who work extra duty assignments outside their regular contracts are paid at set rates. Tutoring rates range from $12 per hour for college or high school students and paraprofessionals up to $25 per hour for certified teachers.
