\"\"TYLER – On Thursday, a Frisco woman entered a guilty plea to first-degree child injury. Authorities accused Frisco resident Kamilla Musser, 47, of repeatedly abusing her child, leading to her arrest in Tyler in May 2024. She was sentenced to ten years of probation, which cannot be ended early, after entering a guilty plea to causing serious bodily injury or serious mental deficiency\/impairment to a child through intentional, knowing, reckless, or criminally negligent actions. She is prohibited from communicating with the victim or the family involved in this case. She will also be imprisoned for ninety days. She will also not be able to renew her teaching license in Texas. <\/p>\n

Additionally, the judge added more conditions to probation. The court will not consider any plea deals if there is a probation violation. She is also being ordered by the court to pay the case’s expenses. She will have to spend eight days in jail on the child’s birthday and Christmas for the first five years. Musser has fifteen days to compose a ten-page letter of apology in which she takes responsibility for her actions and explains why she mistreated her child.<\/p>\n

On January 3, 2020, Musser allegedly hurt the child’s arm by throwing them after discovering them watching TV with their grandfather at their Tyler home. This incident led to Musser being charged and taken into custody.
