Andrew Rourke was freed after spending 35 years in prison when new scientific discoveries debunked the shaken baby theory used in his conviction in 2000. Robertson was sentenced to death using the same theory. Robertson’s execution was stayed by the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals in October, halting his execution for a third time.
