The traffic stop occurred on Tuesday at the intersection of State Highway 315 and Farm-to-Market Road 95. Authorities said deputies stopped a rental vehicle displaying Florida license plates.<\/p>\n<p>During a consensual search of the vehicle, deputies allegedly discovered suspected cocaine concealed inside the vehicle\u2019s door panels. Investigators estimate the seized narcotics have a street value of approximately $80,000. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, 38-year-old Jerry Williams of St. Louis, Missouri, was arrested at the scene. Williams was charged with manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, penalty group 1, 400 grams or more, a first-degree felony. If convicted, he could face up to 99 years in prison.<\/p>\n<p>The Drug Enforcement Administration\u2019s Tyler office was notified of the seizure and is assisting the Rusk County Sheriff\u2019s Office with the ongoing investigation.
