UPSHUR COUNTY \u2013 The Upshur County Sheriff\u2019s Office announced the death of Upshur County Precinct 4 Constable David Thompson on Saturday. According to the sheriff\u2019s office and our news partner KETK, Thompson died on Saturday morning. Thompson was first elected as Precinct 4 Constable in 2020 and was re-elected to his second 4-year-term in 2024.<\/p>\n
