NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KETK) \u2013 The University of Texas Board of Regents approved $70 million in funds for Stephen F. Austin State University to construct their new 100,000-square-foot Lumberjack Crossing residence hall on Thursday.<\/p>\n
The board\u2019s also approved the design for new $70 million dorm which will be a four-story structure capable of housing 335 students in double-occupancy rooms, lounge and study spaces, offices and more.

The new hall will be located directly to the east of the current Lumberjack Landing residence hall and to the south of the new Pineywoods Dining Hall. The $70 million will also fund new campus cooling capacity by installing a new chiller.<\/p>\n
