According to Smith County Emergency Services District 2 and our news partner KETK, the roadway was closed between FM 757 and FM 2908 as crews responded to a vehicle accident around 6:35 a.m. TXDot reports that the roadway is back open to traffic.<\/p>\n<p>A pedestrian was found dead at the scene when first responders arrived.\u00a0 The driver of the vehicle was transported to the hospital with minor injuries, ESD 2 confirmed.
