LONE STAR (KETK) \u2013 An East Texas woman was arrested in February after it was discovered that she provided THC to a Daingerfield Junior High School student. According to the Lone Star Police Department and our news partner KETK, on Feb. 24, officers were called to Daingerfield Junior High School to take a report of a child abuse case involving a student. After officers filed the report, Child Protective Services was contacted the next day and conducted an interview with one of the students involved in the case.<\/p>\n
During the interview, officials said a cookie tin containing THC gummies was found in the student\u2019s possession, leading to the arrest of Cynthia Shaffer, who had provided the drugs to the student.
