Longview Police were dispatched to Home Climate Storage on Jahan Trail about 10:00 Wednesday morning after the board\u2019s Christmas coordinator found the unit had been burglarized. So far, no arrests have been made in connection with the theft.<\/p>\n<p>The Stragent Foundation issued a $4,000 grant, and Longview Diagnostic Clinic matched the grant with a $5,000 donation. Michael Clark, director of business development for the clinic, said it will match donations up to $10,000 for the organizations. Child Protective Services Community Initiatives Specialist Nancy Eldridge said from those donations the group has raised about $10,000. She added somedonations hadn\u2019t been tallied.<\/p>\n<p>To donate, make checks out to the Gregg County Child Welfare Board, P.O. Box 151175, Longview TX, 75615. Donations can also be dropped off at Racquet and Jog, 1419 W. Loop 281.
