East Texas Agrilife Extension Forage Specialist Vanessa Corriher says it&#8217;s just a matter of timing.  She says, &#8220;Most of those forages are warm-season perennials, are going into dormancy as we start to get into cooler temperatures.  So most of those forages, we&#8217;re really not gonna see them &#8216;recover&#8217; until the spring, as they come back out of dormancy.&#8221;   Some producers were holding off planting because of lack of moisture, but Corriher says it\u2019s a bit too late to plant now.
