On Friday, September 26, the Marshall Police Department\u2019s Special Response Team (SRT), working in conjunction with the Upshur County Sheriff\u2019s Office, arrested a man
\nwanted on serious charges. Florencio Scott Sauceda, II, 23, was taken into custody in Diana, Texas, and transported to the Harrison County Jail. Sauceda was wanted on warrants for Sexual Assault of a Child and Continuous Violence Against Family.<\/p>\n
When Sauceda was located by the Upshur County Sheriff\u2019s Office in Diana, he barricaded
\nhimself inside a residence. The Marshall Police Department\u2019s SRT responded to the scene and
\nsuccessfully executed the arrest.
\nThis arrest was the result of coordinated efforts between multiple agencies. The Marshall Police
\nDepartment extends its appreciation to Longview Police Chief Anthony Boone and Upshur
\nCounty Sheriff Larry Webb for their agencies\u2019 cooperation in bringing this case to a successful
\nresolution.
\n\u201cIndividuals who commit violent crimes and then attempt to evade justice will be pursued and
\nheld accountable,\u201d said Marshall Police Chief Cliff Carruth. \u201cThis case highlights the importance
