AUSTIN \u2014 The Texas Education Agency (TEA) said it\u2019s investigating educators\u2019 social media posts related to the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk that it considers \u201cinappropriate,\u201d according to our news partner KETK.<\/p>\n
\u201cThese educators\u2019 comments do not reflect the vast majority of Texas teachers who are dedicated practitioners that work diligently to serve the more than 5.5 million impressionable young minds in our classrooms,\u201d Morath said in the letter.<\/p>\n
Winnsboro ISD is investigating comments made about Charlie Kirk\u2019s assassination after parents alleged that students heard an assistant band director say that Kirk \u201chad it coming.\u201d<\/p>\n
