EAU CLAIRE — A Longview man was found dead in the woods in Wisconsin. According to the Eau Claire, Wisc., Leader-Telegram, Barron County Sheriff’s officers on Saturday were called to the community of Chetek, where a hunter was found unresponsive in the woods. The man, identified as 68-year-old Carl H. Zimmerman, of Longview, was transported to a Bloomer, Wisc., hospital, where he was pronounced dead at about 6:41 p.m. Saturday.
