Our news partner KETK was at school board meeting on Monday where many Winnsboro residents showed up to voice their concerns. Earlier in June, former Winnsboro ISD assistant football coach Nicholas Gabriele was arrested arrested after allegedly admitting to having a sexual relationship with a student.<\/p>\n
Chief Guy was reportedly put on leave because he didn\u2019t notify the district about a Texas Rangers investigation into Gabriele. However, KETK spoke with Guy\u2019s wife, Ashley Guy, on Monday and she said he was specifically told not to notify the district because that could be considered felony interference.<\/p>\n
\u201cI tell them to do better. Let\u2019s stop protecting reputations and let\u2019s start putting our children first. Let\u2019s prioritize the safety and security of our children,\u201d Ashley Guy said. \u201cWe have to speak up for our kids. We have to fight for them.\u201d<\/p>\n
