The STAAR test score percentages are separated by three categories which are approaches, meets and masters. The Texas Education Agency said that some grade levels scored higher than students who took the test before the pandemic. Here is how every grade level compared to last year\u2019s test takers based on the meets (standard) category, according to the Texas Education Agency.<\/p>\n
Reading Language Arts (RLA)<\/strong><\/p>\n Increase: Sixth and seventh grade saw no changes in their score percentage compared to 2024. Increase:<\/p>\n Third grade \u2013 4% Decrease:<\/p>\n Fifth grade \u2013 3% Science<\/strong><\/p>\n There are only science test results for fifth and eighth graders with fifth grade seeing a 3% increase and eighth grade seeing a 4% increase.
