According to KETK, officials say the man involved, Anthony Kevin Brown Jr. of Kilgore, was drunk and now faces intoxication manslaughter charges. The accident was reported shortly after 5:30 Tuesday afternoon near Kilgore, on Farm Road 2276, half a mile north of Farm Road 2204. The DPS says a GMC pickup driven by Brown was southbound when it crossed over and hit a northbound Ford Expedition driven by Nancy Gwen Huyser of Kilgore. Huyser, 55, was pronounced dead at 6:30 p.m. on scene. Brown was listed in stable condition with head injuries at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview.
