Longview Police want to remind hunters to be safe in their hunting practices and use extreme caution when deciding where to fire their weapon.    Hunters need to also use safety vests, safety harnesses in tree stands, and use good judgment when deciding whether or not to harvest an animal.<\/p>\n<p>Motorists are also reporting more deer on or alongside the roadways.  Drivers need to use caution when they encounter wildlife on the roadside and slow down in areas where wildlife may be more prevalent.
