Larry Dale Smith, 48, of Kilgore, pleaded guilty last December to possession of pseudoephedrine with intent to manufacture methamphetamine. He was sentenced yesterday to 105 months in federal prison by U.S. District Judge Leonard E. Davis.<\/p>\n<p>According to information presented in court, on October 8, 2009, Smith purchased 2.40 grams of pseudoephedrine with the intent to manufacture methamphetamine. From October 8, 2009 through January 21, 2010, Smith purchased cold pills containing pseudoephedrine on 34 separate occasions which amounted to a total of 84 grams of pseudoephedrine which he planned to use to manufacture methamphetamine.  Co-defendant Joy Smith has been sentenced to 121 months in federal prison and Jack Ramsey has been sentenced to 58 months in federal prison.
