Offices will reopen for normal business hours on Tuesday, January 21, and Commissioners Court will be held at its normal time, at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Smith County Annex Building, located at 200 E. Ferguson St. in Tyler. City offices will observe the following schedule on Monday, Jan. 20 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>City Hall<br \/>\nCity Hall offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 20<\/p>\n<p>Solid Waste<br \/>\nThe Tyler Solid Waste office and Tyler Recycling Center will be closed Monday, Jan. 20.<\/p>\n<p>Holiday Curbside Schedule:<br \/>\nMonday 1\/20 &#8211; No collection<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday 1\/21 \u2013 Routes normally collected Monday<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday 1\/22 \u2013 Routes normally collected Tuesday<\/p>\n<p>Thursday 1\/23 \u2013 Regular collection<\/p>\n<p>Friday 1\/24 \u2013 Regular collection<\/p>\n<p>Yard waste of any kind, including brush, tree limbs, or bags of leaves, may not be picked up during the holiday week due to heavier household garbage loads.<\/p>\n<p>To reduce the chance of animals or weather scattering trash, please do not set garbage carts out before 6 p.m. on the day before the scheduled collection day. Per Sec. 16-4 ordinance, garbage carts must be removed by 6 a.m. the morning after the scheduled collection day.<\/p>\n<p>For information about changes to garbage collection schedules, recycling and other special projects, visit TylerSolidWaste.com or download the Tyler Talks Trash app and never miss a pick-up.<\/p>\n<p>Tyler Pounds Regional Airport<br \/>\nTyler Pounds Regional Airport administrative offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 20.<br \/>\nCustomers should contact their airline for special holiday travel schedules.<br \/>\nAmerican Airlines: (800) 433-7300<\/p>\n<p>Tyler Public Library<br \/>\nThe Tyler Public Library will be closed Sunday, Jan. 19 and Monday, Jan. 20. For more information regarding the Library, please call (903) 593-7323. The Library is located at 201 S. College Ave. in Downtown Tyler.<\/p>\n<p>Tyler Transit Schedule<br \/>\nTyler Transit&#8217;s Fixed Route, MicroTransit, Paratransit and administrative office will be closed on Monday, Jan. 20.<\/p>\n<p>Bus stop times, maps and route information can be found on the Transit website at TylerBus.org.<br \/>\nMunicipal Court<br \/>\nThe Municipal Court will be closed Monday, Jan. 20.<\/p>\n<p>Tyler Animal Services<br \/>\nThe Animal Shelter will be closed on Monday, Jan. 20.<\/p>\n<p>Gallery Main Street<br \/>\nGallery Main Street and Visitor Center will be closed Monday, Jan. 20.<\/p>\n<p>Tyler Parks and Recreation<br \/>\nThe Tyler Parks and Recreation administrative offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 20. These facilities include Parks administration, the Glass Recreation Center, the Goodman Le-Grand Museum, Senior Center and the Tyler Rose Complex.<\/p>\n<p>Tyler Water Utilities<br \/>\nThe Water Business Office will be closed on Monday, Jan. 20. The kiosk at the drive-through offers 24\/7 access for water utility customers with its ability to accept checks, money orders, credit\/debit cards and cash payments. Those choosing to pay with cash should be aware that no change will be given.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone wishing to make a payment may also use one of two available drop boxes. One box is located in front of the Water Business Office at 511 W. Locust St. The other is a drive-up box located in the Brookshire&#8217;s parking lot on the corner of South Broadway Avenue and Rice Road. Payments will be credited on the next business day. Please do not drop cash into these boxes.<\/p>\n<p>Payments may also be made online at CityofTyler.org, over the phone by calling (903) 531-1230 or at one of many businesses in Tyler that accept water utility payments.
