The city plans to make the change on the stretch running from Spring Avenue to Center Street.  It&#8217;s seen as a way to help drivers better navigate the downtown area as downtown becomes more of a destination for residents and visitors.  Officials hope to make the switch by early next week, but no firm date has been set.
