The Lufkin Daily News reports the fire broke out Tuesday morning in a Lufkin Industries heat treatment facility used for cooling and hardening metal. Company vice president Brian Gifford says nobody was hurt and authorities are investigating the cause of the fire. Hot spots were being monitored throughout the day.
