A man was sentenced to six years in prison after pleading guilty to solicitation of a minor, Trinity County Sheriff Woody Wallace announced on Tuesday. Steven Myers, 47, was arrested after officials said he made inappropriate advances towards a minor while she was at work. The minor told her parents, who contacted the sheriff\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s office, prompting an undercover investigation lasting several weeks.<\/p>\n
According to Wallace, an investigator messaged Myers while undercover where Myers attempted to solicit someone he thought was a girl under 17-years-old for sexual favors. Officials said Myers also sent explicit pictures to who he thought was a minor, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
