No one was injured and no environmental issues were reported when eight freight cars of a train derailed Wednesday morning, according to the City of Marshall via the Marshall News Messenger. Union Pacific officials said the derailment occurred about 8 a.m. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153At about 8:00, an estimated eight rail cars on a Union Pacific train derailed in Marshall, Texas,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Robynn Tysver with Union Pacific media relations told the Marshall News Messenger. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153The incident occurred west of the intersection of Van Zandt Avenue and N. Franklin Street,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d she said.<!--more--> Marshall Fire Chief Reggie Cooper, who responded to evaluate the scene, said they don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t know how the derailment occurred, but no injuries were reported. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153These are car hauls so we don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t have any hazardous materials issues to worry about,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Chief Cooper reported. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153There are eight train cars rolled over.
