According to our news partner KETK, severe thunderstorms brought on an influx of power outages and extensive damage in the area.<!--more--> The following districts are impacted:<\/p>\n<p>Como-Pickton ISD \u00e2\u20ac\u201c All athletic activities canceled until further notice due to damage<br \/>\nGilmer ISD \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Summer School canceled<br \/>\nHughes Springs ISD \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Summer School\/Camp Invention canceled<br \/>\nJefferson ISD \u00e2\u20ac\u201c ACE Summer School canceled<br \/>\nMartin\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Mill ISD \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Summer School canceled<br \/>\nPanola College \u00e2\u20ac\u201c All locations closed Friday<\/p>\n<p>In addition to schools, several city and county offices are closed as well:<\/p>\n<p>Gladewater \u00e2\u20ac\u201c City Hall closed<br \/>\nHarrison County \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Courthouse and sub courthouse in Waskom and Hallsville closed<br \/>\nMarshall \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Non-emergency facilities will have a delayed opening<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>EAST TEXAS &#8212; Several school districts in East Texas are canceling classes due to severe weather aftermath.
