This therapy is already being used to help patients recovering from strokes. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153This garden provides patients the opportunity to get out of their rooms and participate in activities that promote healing, functional strength, restoration, and a return to independence,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d said Sara Martin, occupational therapist. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Since functional activities are a vital part of therapy, what better way to highlight that than through gardening in our therapy garden.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d The garden\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s blessing started at 10 a.m. on Thursday and \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Planting Day\u00e2\u20ac\u009d was held all day.
