A federal judge in Marshall on Thursday sentenced 44-year-old Rodney Ray Hayes of Linden. Hayes in April pleaded guilty to transportation of minors with intent to engage in illicit sexual activity.<\/p>\n<p>Hayes, as part of his traveling rodeo act, had children on the road with him. He was accused of wrongful sexual contact with a minor between March 2005 and June 2008. The Gazette reports the incident happened in a horse trailer used as sleeping quarters.
