Workmen have been remodeling the old El Chico Restaurant for the Double D. What has caused some citizen protests is the location of the building; across the loop from Robert E Lee High School and in the same parking lot with Toys R Us. And it features waitresses in skimpy costumes. Toys R Us sought and got the temporary restraining order against the restaurant in the 114th District Court of Judge Christi Kennedy.
