The Secondary Teacher of the Year is Alejandra Grijalva of Birdwell Dual Language Immersion School.  Elementary honors go to La&#8217;Shunda Wright of Andy Woods.  They were picked from a lengthy list of top instructors from each campus. Grijalva told KTBB her honor was &#8220;something I was not expecting&#8230;but I am very happy, I am very honored to represent Birdwell.  It&#8217;s a school that I love&#8230;I have been working there for a long time. My kids are wonderful.  They inspire me, they encourage me to get up every day and get out there and do my best.
