Dr. Premananda Indic and Dr. Pravitha Ramanand received an $861,744 subaward to support \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Vital Signs in Opioid Exposed Neonates,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d a University of Alabama at Birmingham project. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153There is an ongoing epidemic of opioid use during pregnancy,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d said UA-Birminghams&#8217;s Dr. Namasivayam Ambalavanan as quoted in a news release.
