According to a news release, the motorcyclist fired shots at a Greenwood officer and bullets struck the officer\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s vehicle. The officer was not struck. The pursuit continued into Harrison County, and the motorcycle was stopped near the Gregg County line on I-20. Christopher Sam Basco, 37, from Haughton, Louisiana, was arrested and has been transferred to the Harrison County Jail. Charges were pending, with no immediate bond information.
