Sandoval was arrested in August and charged with misuse of official information. It came after a months-long investigation by the East Texas Anti-Gang Task Force. Sandoval was terminated from the sheriff\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s office before he was arrested. He had been employed with the department since November 2017. Sandoval was booked on a $250,000 bond, which he posted one day later.
