The website of Tyler&#8217;s Green Acres Baptist Church shows that Dr. Michael Gossett took over the reins effective Sunday, August 29. He succeeds Dr. David Dykes, who has retired as the longest-serving pastor in the church&#8217;s history. Dykes began leading the congregation in March 1991.
