Schaefer told KTBB, &#8220;I believe that the right to defend yourself and your family is given to us by God &#8212; and the Second Amendment stands to ensure that right can be exercised. And any infringements contrary to that right must be removed.&#8221;  He added, &#8220;The governor has signed an historic restoration of Second Amendment rights.&#8221; Asked about possible legal challenges, Schaefer responded, &#8220;I do not think any legal challenges to this bill will be successful.
