Charges filed on youth involved in Feb shooting at apartment in Tyler

TYLER — Tyler police have filed new charges in connection with a shooting that took place last month at the Town Parc Apartment Complex on WNW Loop 323. One man had previously been charged in the incident. Wednesday, police charged a juvenile at the scene with aggravated assault and aggravated robbery. On February 22, police arrived at the scene learning Christopher Lynch III, 17, and the juvenile had been fighting. According to a TPD press release, during the fight Dejuan Anthony Henley, 23, shot both Lynch and the juvenile. Neither shot was fatal. Henley was arrested and placed in the Smith County Jail on the charge of aggravated assault.
