TVCC closer to inaugural soccer season

ATHENS — The upstart soccer program at Trinity Valley Community College received a boost from a local business this week. First State Bank awarded TVCC a $1,000 gift of support. TVCC soccer will play a club schedule this spring before its first NJCAA-sanctioned season this fall. Soccer Coach Antonio Ledesma will host tryouts April 10, at the soccer field on the lower level next to Cardinal Gym. Tryouts for women are set for 9 a.m.-noon.
