Child Drowns in Lake o’ the Pines

LAKE O’ THE PINES — Marion County officials confirmed Tuesday a 4-year-old Jefferson boy drowned Saturday evening at Johnson Creek at Lake O’ the Pines. According to a Marion County investigator, Mykael Evans was pronounced dead about 6:30 p.m. at the Johnson Creek swimming area.
