Structure fire in Cherokee County

CHEROKEE COUNTY — A structure fire Monday afternoon on HWY 69 found first responders battling a building fire, near the old Thunder Mountain Speedway. According to our news partner KETK, the fire was north of Rusk at HWY 69 and CR 1605. Although the fire spread to a portable building and the woods, both the Rusk Fire Department and Gallatin firefighters worked to contain the fire.
