Tractor Trailer Fire on I-20 Extinguished

SMITH COUNTY — The Department of Public Safety says traffic on I-20 is back up and running after a brief back-up. Around 7:00, an 18-wheeler caught fire close to mile marker 578, near Joy-Wright Mountain Road. One lane was blocked in the eastbound direction while fire crews extinguished the blaze.
