LPD seeks assistance in hit-in-run accident of bicyclist

LONGVIEW — Longview police are soliciting the public’s help tracking down a hit-and-run driver from an incident back in November. The episode took place at 1 a.m. November 22 on Tyron Road. Officers responded to an accident on Tyron Road at 1 a.m. According to the Department, Officers arrived to find a cyclist was hit by the right side of the vehicle and thrown from the bicycle. The subject was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Officers located parts of the suspect’s vehicle. Police are looking for a 2017-2018 gray Ford Fiesta with right-side damage to the headlight, mirror, and front bumper.
