TISD honored for excellence in financial reporting for 17th straight year

TYLER – Tyler ISD has received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for the fiscal year that ended August 31, 2019. They have now been honored for 17 consecutive years from the Government Finance Officers Association. This recognition is the highest accolade of governmental accounting and financial reporting. The CAFR is judged by an impartial panel to meet the high standards of the program, which includes demonstrating a constructive spirit of full disclosure to clearly communicate its financial story and motivate potential users and user groups to read the CAFR.
