TYLER — CampV is less than a year old, but is already making a local impact. On Monday, Vicki Patzold told KTBB, CampV is an acronym that stands for Community Assisting Military Personnel and Veterans. What our mission is, is to be a one-stop shop location for everything that a military Veteran could possibly need. We don’t want Veterans to have to run to 9 different locations for 9 different things.” Pastzold continued, “Camp V is less than a year old. Did you know we have a bagel and coffee event that we do every Wednesday morning. Twice a month we do a bowling with a Vet event, where Vets can come out and bowl for free for 2 hours. We do it at Grand Slam Bowling at Time Square on Broadway. On November 11th, we will be doing a Veteran’s Day Celebration at the American Freedom Museum in Bullard, on the campus of Brook Hill School.” CampV is extending an open invitation to the community to come participate in their open house Nov 14th, celebrating their one-year-anniversary.
