UT Tyler to honor nurses with 24 hr celebration

TYLER — East Texas nurses will be honored by The University of Texas at Tyler with an around-the-clock appreciation event starting Wednesday. According to a press release from the school, University Representatives will be at Tyler hospitals for 24 hrs, during all shifts, to hand-out tokens of appreciation and commemorate the hard work of nurses. The event will run from 10 a.m. Wednesday to 10 a.m. Thursday. UT-Tyler will recognize 8 different campuses to show their appreciation for their continued diligence during the COVID-19 crisis.

Tyler
UT Health East Texas – Between the main entrance and parking garage. Dr. Tidwell will be distributing bags at 1 p.m. Wednesday

CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances – corner of Heart Hospital parking lot on East Dawson Street. Dr. Tidwell will be distributing bags at 12 p.m. Wednesday.

UT Health North Campus – near Parking Lot A and Building G

Palestine
Palestine Regional Medical Center – in front of the building near the ER

Longview
CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Medical Center – 10 a.m. Wednesday
CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Medical Center – Marshall – 10 a.m. Wednesday
Longview Regional Medical Center – 1 p.m. Wednesday
Everest Rehab Hospital Longview – Wednesday afternoon
