Man arrested and charged with murder in Wood County

MINEOLA — A murder in Wood County has resulted in the arrest of Timell Tiquan Jones. Mineola police and the Wood County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jones Wednesday in connection with the death of Dustin James Thomas, 20. Authorities believe Thomas died Sunday night or early Monday on CR 2800 in Wood County. Jones has been arraigned for murder and is in Wood County Jail on a $1 million bond.
