Lufkin Murder Trial Starts Thursday

LUFKIN — The suspect in a Lufkin man’s shooting death goes on trial this week. A jury was selected on Monday in the murder trial of Kendall Thompson, 20. The Lufkin woman is accused in the drive-by shooting death of Joseph Cooper, 63. The trial will begin tomorrow and is expected last four days.
