Man Treated After Stabbing

NACOGDOCHES — One man is recovering after a brutal attack. A Nacogdoches man is being treated at a local hospital after being slashed across his face and stabbed in the back. Nacogdoches Police say it happened around 5:30 Saturday morning at Oak Hill Plaza. Nicholas Barnes, 28, was found with stab wounds. Police say he and a couple of others were “very incoherent.” One witness was arrested for public intoxication.
